How do you bring more leads to your website? Provide them with the listings they’re searching for using CREA DDF.
Your Jumptools website is integrated with CREA DDF, which will allow visitors to search your website for listings in the neighbourhoods they are interested in. Furthermore, Jumptools provides tools that enhance your search with neighbourhood information provided by local logic.
By setting up a feed using CREA DDF, you can display active listings from all participating brokerages turning your website into a valuable resource for potential clients.
Three ways to display an automatic listing feed to your site:
- The map search on the home page and advanced map search displays your listing feed. You can set the start point on the map to display your target location.
- The listing page displays your active listings and can be configured to feature your brokerage listings as well.
- You can create custom search pages to feature specific property types and/or locations.
What is CREA DDF?
DDF stands for the Data Distribution Facility. It is a tool available through CREA that allows REALTORS to share their listings with participating brokerages across third party websites, and also allows realtors to access these listings for their website.
Brokerages can set permissions on how listings are accessed through the DDF. Individual REALTORS can also choose how their listings are shared.
In order to share listings on your website using the DDF you will need to select a data feed:
National Shared Pool
Allows you to share your listings with participating brokerages across Canada and gain access to this pool of listings to display on your site.
Member Website Feed
Allows you to access a feed of listings that you can use on your personal website.
Member Website Feed – One or more offices
Allows you to pull a feed of listing content belonging to one or more offices in your brokerage.
REALTOR.CA DDF®
To set up a CREA DDF feed on your Jumptools website, make sure your brokerage is participating in the National Shared Pool. It’s a reciprocal agreement: agents participating in that pool will be able to display your listings and vice versa.
How to set up your listing feed using CREA DDF:
- Log in to your Realtor tools: https://member.realtor.ca
- Click “Access DDF” in the “REALTOR.CA Data Distribution Facility (DDF)” section
- Go to the “Data Feeds” and click “Add a Data Feed” to create a new data feed
- When setting up the feed:
- Choose the type of Data Feed you would like to create: choose National Shared Pool for all available listings or Member Website Feed for only your listings
- Identify who will operate your Data Feed: 3rd Party technology provider will operate my data feed
- Select a Technology Provider: find “Jumptools” in the list of 3rd party technology providers
- Enter your website URL
- Please indicate if you would like to filter your Data Feed: We recommend selecting “filters to limit the listings provided by the data feed”
- Please use the filters below to customise the listing content contained in your Data Feed: Select your province and uploading board. All other filters are optional.
- Review your summary, terms of services and save to activate the feed.
- Allow up to 48 hours for the feed to appear on your website.
Once your feed is created, the technical information will be sent to Jumptools and we can add the feed to your website. The listing feed is automatic, which means updates to listings will come in from the MLS and will require no further intervention from the website owner.
